For employees working abroad it’s good news too, just not as big. Salary hikes will be smaller single-digit percentages. Sounds fair right? Jayesh Sanghrajka Infosys’ Chief Financial Officer spilled the beans on this update during their Q3FY25 results announcement.
“We’re expecting 6-8% hikes in India. For overseas folks it’s going to follow earlier patterns” he said.
But Why the Wait?
Let’s rewind a bit. Infosys, a company with over 3.23 lakh employees held off salary revisions till the fourth quarter of FY25. Why? The global economy isn’t exactly thriving and IT spending has taken a hit. Plus their last round of salary bumps happened in November 2023.

Will this move impact profits? Well Infosys hasn’t shared the exact numbers yet. But Sanghrajka hinted at possible “headwinds” in the coming months. So Q4FY25 and Q1FY26 might be a little rocky.
But hey there’s a silver lining! CEO Salil Parekh made it clear—if you’re a high performer your hike could be even better. That’s something to cheer about right?
Q3FY25 Infosys Did Pretty Well
Amid all these updates Infosys showed up strong in Q3FY25.
- Net profit: ₹6,806 crore. That’s an 11.4% jump compared to last year.
- Revenue: ₹41,764 crore. Up by 7.5% from ₹38,821 crore in the same quarter last year.

What’s Next?
Seeing these results Infosys raised its growth forecast for FY25. They now expect revenue growth of 4.5-5% better than the previous 3.75-4.5% prediction.
